Position Overview:
Headland Methodist Church seeks a passionate and dynamic Associate Pastor who will focus on Next-Generation Ministry. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our church community by leading and mentoring students, supporting executive/administrative functions, and contributing to the church's growth. The Associate Pastor will play a vital role in establishing a solid discipleship culture, working closely with the Lead Pastor, and launching a new service in 2025.

Next Generation Ministry:
Develop and lead engaging programs and events for students, fostering spiritual growth and community.
Mentor and disciple students, creating pathways for them to grow in their faith and leadership within the church.
Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and the Vision Mission Team to create a welcoming environment for young students and families and bridge generational gaps in ministry.

Executive/Administrative Support:
Assist in the church's day-to-day operations, providing organizational support to ensure smooth functioning.
Aid in planning and executing church-wide events, services, and initiatives to engage the congregation effectively.
Contribute to church administrative tasks, including volunteer coordination, event planning, and logistical support.

Discipleship Culture and New Service Launch:
Partner with the Lead Pastor to implement a discipleship model, equip the laity, and promote spiritual growth throughout the congregation.
Play an active role in the planning and executing a new worship service set to launch in 2025, focusing on innovative approaches to reach the community and grow the church.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree (equivalent experience in ministry or a related field) is preferred.
Proven experience in student/next-generation ministry, with a heart for guiding and developing young believers.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with experience in church operations or a similar environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to the Global Methodist Church's mission and values, with a passion for discipleship and church growth.
• Collaborative spirit, adaptable, and eager to grow alongside the Lead Pastor and church community.

Compensation and Benefits:
